New Jersey Women in Law Enforcement, Inc. (NJWLE) is a professional and inclusive organization of active and retired officers who are working together to strengthen public recognition of the successes and unique contributions of women to the profession of law enforcement.

 

New Jersey Women in Law Enforcement, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is committed to non-discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex , religion, sexual orientation and national origin.

 

Founded in 2004 by a group of dynamic female Law Enforcement executives representing Federal, State, County and Municipal agencies,

 

NJWLE is proud to invite all in Law Enforcement, both men and women, who support the goals of this organization, to join us.

Our mission is to strengthen gender diversity in the Law Enforcement profession through collaborative leadership.

•Support the recruitment, retention and promotion of women in Law Enforcement to contribute to the growth of the agencies represented.

•Advocate for high quality training to all in the Law Enforcement community. 

•Establish communication links among Law Enforcement members for the exchange of information and ideas. 

•Conduct and sponsor training conferences and form a networking system. 

•Sponsor community service projects to promote a positive relationship between law 
enforcement and the communities we serve. 

•Affirmation of strict ethical standards of conduct and professionalism.
